Woah there sunshine!! I imagine you are sitting in a bath tub, half naked, smoking a cigarette, thinking, I’m sure these boys do not have it in them to go a couple more rounds. WELL SORRY HATERS BUT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH.
The double a-side single You Get Me & Accolade, performed and written by Stickman Cartel, is out now for download on iTunes and Amazon.
We’re immensely proud of these songs and we’d love it if you could take the time to download and spread the word. Here are the links:
In other news… our Mark, otherwise known as “Drum Totty”, has suffered a knee injury preparing for his Britain’s Got Talent audition for the most number of press ups while listening to Engelbert Humperdinck song Please Release Me. Unfortunately this means we will no longer be playing Proud Camden on 21st April. We will of course reschedule at a later date.
Thank you for your support. Look after each other, we will do the rest.
1) On 9th March we are playing at the Silver Bullet in Finsbury Park to launch our first single – You Get Me. This will be available to download on itunes. Everyone who comes to the gig will also get a free download of the tune. The night starts at 7pm with an incredible line up. Entry is a fiver. BARGAIN
2) DJ Gratdog and Dan Cat (who produced the record) will be spinning party tunes late into the night. Remember what happened last time…….
3) Competition Time: To win a pair of tickets to the gig, just send an email to stickman@stickmancartel.com and answer this simple question:
Q. What is the ideal relation between the individual and the state?
If you don’t win, you can get tickets the old fashioned way (on the door), and you will perhaps feel a greater sense of ownership of said tickets, unlike the freeloaders who win. Why must everything be a competition with these people……?
If you wish to betray us by non-attendance you can remedy the situation by “liking” our Facebook page www.facebook.com/stickmancartel and/or checking our gig list to schedule in the diary future gig dates.
It’s Christmas, and Christmas is charity, which we do a lot for by the way but don’t like to mention it.
As is tradition we bring you the Stickman Cartel Christmas party. A superb opportunity to get strapped in, have a dance and get off with Helen from payroll. So forget your dignity, hopes and dreams by joining us Upstairs at The Garage in Highbury and Islington on Tuesday 20 December for 7.30pm show start to rock the hell out. Tickets are £5 in advance (http://www.hmvtickets.com/events/4692?REFID=MAMA_GARAGE) or on our guest list (send us through your names and we’ll ask the man to stick you down).
We are literally the coolest people you will ever meet so this should be a no brainer.
This also seems right time to tell you about a competition we have taken part in. The powers that be at MTV have selected us for a longlist of entrants to Brand New 2012. We’re not exactly sure what this means but we are chuffed. However, we need people to confirm this by taking ten seconds out to vote for us and you may see us on TV sometime next year.

Finally, someone spotted this person at one of our headline shows this year at Proud. We reckon this guy is the epitome of cool (20 secs in). We’d love to track him down. Is this you or do you know who he might be? Please get in touch.
Some snazzy pictures of us doing our thing at Proud Camden in August over here.
We’re heading back there on Friday 28th October for some more carnage. Tickets are onsale online over here. We have a cheaper guestlist available to friends on facebook.
I guess you thought the Stickman onslaught was over following what can only be described as a melt your face off performance at Proud. Well, I hate to be the bearer of sad news but get ready to dust of you air guitar (AGAIN) as the masters of clunge are booked to smash up the Silver Bullet in Finsbury park this Friday. We have been practising some new songs – I can guarantee that the results are nothing short of mind blowing.
Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has come to see us over the past few weeks around London. The show at Proud Camden was a particular highlight for us and hopefully we’ll have some videos to post soon, including some of the new tracks.
Secondly, in honour of election time here in the UK, well not really but the timing was right, the genius that is J-Level did a fucking awesome remix of Campaign. Turn it on, turn it up and have a listen.
We are featured on a charity compilation in aid of the disaster in Japan. The album is on release as of today and all proceeds go to the Japanese Red Cross. The minimum donation is £2 for over 20 tracks – money well spent wethinks. Credit goes to Steve Paul for his efforts. Click on the image below for more details.
